Unit 3
Paint Palette V. 2

Plan:
- Role out slab
- Cut out circle/oval shape
- Add the divets for paint and hole for finger
- Create a mini water cup
- Underglaze
- Fire
- Clear glaze
- Fire
- Done!
I am very happy with how this turned out. I loved working on this, especially the designs on the back. This is a gift I was making for my friend's birthday, who paints a lot, and I feel extremely proud of how this turned out. It's a good size and nicely decorated.
Goose Tray

Plan:
- Create two slabs
- Put them on top of each other and carve out the inside
- Add geese and decorations
- Underglaze
- Fire
- Clear glaze
- Fire
-Done!
This is another birthday present that I am very happy with. I loved working on it and it turned out to be one of the smoothest pieces. There were no cracks or dust that is typically on my other pieces. I also love the colors. I feel like they created a seamless scene. Overall, very proud of this one.
Paper Swan

Plan:
- Work with a slim slab to create different aspects of the swan
-Experiment
- Indent center to make a candlestick holder
- Fire
- Glaze
- Fire
- Done!
Another birthday project. I had this idea for a while, but I struggled coming up with a concrete plan as there was little inspiration online. I ended up winging it (joke intended) and actually really liked how it eventually turned out. I am still unsure if it really gives the idea of a paper swan, but I think the sentiment is still there.
