I have mixed feelings about this piece. I can not find a photo of the finished product, but the glaze I used was much brighter than I originally thought. It also killed a basil plant I planted in it. Overall, though, it is not the worst it could have been.

I really liked this piece. I hope the child likes it as well. My biggest change is that I would have spent more time painting the white rather than leaving it clay colored, as I think that would have made it look more polished. Overall, though, I am quite happy with the result.

Overall, I am really proud of how this turned out. On one hand, I really like the shape and the painting of it. On the other hand, I do believe I could have challenged myself more with a different animal. I shared my poster with Kylie, as she made a turtle, and my starfish made a home on the left with the rocks and the anemone. I also liked my poster, though I think I took up too much space with the title. No matter, I am really happy with the painting I did, as it is very similar to an alebrije style.
